Given that all of them were getting paler as the long night wore on, any hints of tans wore away and unless someone was duskier by nature, they all looked a bit like ghosts. So Prompto's blush was immensely worse as Gladio finally looked back, seeing Prompto unable to meet his eyes and looking completely embarrassed.

That was so much worse than he'd heard Prompto be in the past, and Gladio almost felt embarrassed just listening.
